Hi, I’m Rebecca — a product designer based in Vancouver. I’m passionate about breaking down barriers around technology and creating digital experiences that empower rather than intimidate.
I currently lead end-to-end design at Tablz, a platform that helps guests elevate their dining experience while unlocking new revenue streams for restaurants. Most of my career has been in startups, where I thrive on building from 0→1—taking ambiguous, untackled problems and transforming them into thoughtful solutions that not only feel right but also drive real impact and revenue.
Before Tablz, I led design at Hack the North, Canada’s largest hackathon, worked on complex digital products at EY Design Studio, and partnered with clients across law, finance, and community organizations through freelance projects.
At my core, I’m a curious thinker who loves uncovering the why behind the what. I’m drawn to people—their stories, quirks, and motivations—and that curiosity naturally led me to design. To me, design is about listening first, then shaping insights into pieces of a bigger puzzle. I care deeply about the small details, but I also step back to see how it all fits together. Through it all, I lean on communication and transparency—because trust is where human-centric design truly begins.
